Continued from
Children of the Dirt, Pt. 1:

What would fresh water do? Poured over their heads, flowing over their bodies, filling their mouths?

What would it feel like: pure, clear cool water washing them clean.
Water on their parched, swollen tongues. Water wiping away ages of
darkness. Water that flows from a fount that is eternal.

What
is the hope for the Children of the Dirt. What will calm the hunger and
thirst? What will protect them from the evil that steals their future?

Who will see them, through the dirt, through the darkness and shame, and call them out to be who they were born to be?

It has been said that the land of Africa is covered in red dirt
because of all the blood that has saturated it through history. It
is true that this land feels cursed, it is easy to think the problem is
too big and turn away, to ignore it, to go on with your life and say it
is not your problem or concern. But that is a lie.

If
you serve the King of Kings, you must obey His commands, not His
suggestions. He commands us to look after the widows and orphans in
their distress. This land may be cursed, but children are always
innocent victims, they cannot defend themse lves, therefore we must
fight for them.

The "children of the dirt" have stolen my
heart. I think of them all the time. They represent children all over
the world, innocent, defenseless, and created for life and living.

Their smiles would melt the hearts of the cruelest cynic. They
have not asked us for anything, yet thank us profusely for an orange,
or a simple pair of flip-flops.

They all have stories that they need to
tell, and we need to hear.

Join me as I share their stories with you,
as well as the exciting vision we have for their future.
