Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

The last shall be made first. The LAST shall be made FIRST. What an interesting concept. That we worship a God who loves us so dearly that he sacrificed His son so that we may live and prosper. That we get to thrive in an upside down kingdom where the least are prized in His eyes. Where we are called to serve one another, and assist the orphans and widows around us. A Kingdom where the KING is down on His knees, washing the feet of His followers. PRAISE JESUS that we get to live in this! That we are LOVED by this! Amen and amen.

This summer (and everyday really) you have the opportunity to choose: am I going to do something to impact the orphans and widows in a positive kingdom way?

Or am I going to continue in complacency and mediocrity and ignore the basic commandment of love in which the Lord has placed on our hearts?!

Swaziland is a wonderful place in which you can experience and bathe in the goodness of Jesus. Where most might see pain, suffering and heartache, our leaders and participants see hope, freedom, grace and love instead. From home visits with some amazing local community members, to playing games with some of the cutest children you will probably ever see, the light of Christ is so very present here.
